Good to know
Do diners or staff need to download an app?
No. Tably is a web app. Diners open it from the table QR in their phone's browser; your counter and you use it in the browser on a tablet, laptop or phone.
Does Tably handle our money?
Never. Diners pay by UPI straight to your own UPI ID, and your counter confirms each payment against your bank app. There's no payment gateway in the middle.
Is a service charge added?
No automatic service charge. The tip starts at ₹0 and is the diner's choice.
What's on the bill?
Your legal name, FSSAI number and GST lines on every bill, with a bill number per financial year.
What if a diner would rather order with a waiter?
Staff can take the order for that table from the counter screen. It goes to the same kitchen ticket and the same bill.
Who owns the customer list?
You do. It's your list, nobody else's. Staff see masked numbers, and every time a full number is shown it's logged.
